Meet the top 10 Ghanaian Artists With the Most YouTube Subscribers in Ghana The list of the top 10 independent Ghanaian artists with the highest YouTube subscribers was published by Charts Ghana, a data analyst blog.
The data were based on Independent musicians that handle all aspect of their careers without assistance from a record label.
With the help of their music videos and regular updates on their recording sessions, performances, and other activities, these musicians are gaining subscribers on YouTube.
Google owns YouTube, a social networking and internet video sharing service in the United States. On February 14, 2005, Steve Chen, Chad Hurley, and Jawed Karim officially debuted it. Right behind Google itself [Wiki], it receives the second-highest number of visitors.
Sarkodie and Shatta Wale, two of Ghana’s best rappers, were at the top of the list and had many subscribers.
With 589k, Stonebwoy, who is also promoting his music and brand independently, comes in third place, ahead of Black Sherif, Gyakie, and Kofi Kinaata, who placed fourth, fifth, and sixth, respectively.
Others were Sonnie Badu, Fuse ODG, Eugy Official, Black Sherif, and Diana Hamilton who, through hard work and quality content, also amassed subscriber counts below 300,000.
