Ghanaian entertainment critic and talent manager, George Britton ha suggested that Ghanaians need to start building up their people to have open minds for the sake of the Ghanaian culture.
His comments come after the Nigerian musical icon, Burna Boy was spotted in a viral video adding his version to Black Sherif’s most popular song ‘Second Sermon’. Burna Boy earlier was seen in previous footage jamming to the tune composed by the young Ghanaian superstar.
Our very own rapper, Sarkodie has been accused by some critics of feeding on the glory of upcoming stars. Recall, a spiritualist warned the managers of Yaw Tog not to allow him to go near Sarkodie because he will confiscate his shine for a period of five years before releasing it back to him.
It is at the back of this that George Britton has stated that should it have been Sarkodie who jumped on the tune, Ghanaians would have accused him of trying to feed on Black Sherif’s shine but Burna Boy is rather being hailed for doing the same.
