Sarkodie explains why he will only compete in hip-hop battle with MI Abanga and Cassper

Rapper Sarkodie, who has won numerous awards, has chosen the artists with whom he would engage in a rap battle and explained his reasoning.

Sarkodie’s recent remarks on media figures during an interview with Fire Stick have put him in the news for a few days. Sarkodie asserts that some members of the media lack the moral character to critique artists because they have not yet advanced to the point where they ought to.

Sarkodie claims that he would be interested in competing in a hip-hop rap duel against Cassper Nyovest of South Africa and M.I. Abaga of Nigeria. In an interview with Ghanaian blogger Emmanuel Sandyman, commonly known as Fire Stick, he disclosed the information.

Sarkodie stated that he would not like to fight any new rappers in the industry before listing the artists he would adore to duke it out with.

He reasoned, “I suppose you only respond when you’re not certain of your [superior] position.

However, he acknowledged that he would be interested in competing against a rapper from abroad.

Yes, M.I. Abaga. I think so,” he agreed. When the host mentioned the South African rap artist also, he nodded and said, “Cassper, sure.

No offence to other rappers, but let’s be pragmatic about business, he said.

His main focuses are commercial in nature.

“South Africa will be watching what I do if I have a poetic duel with Cassper. Nigeria will watch if I fight M.I.
