Sarkodie responds to Rocky Dawuni Nomination  for the 64th edition of the Grammy Award

Ghanaians both home and abroad have been reacting seriously in a positive way, after
the Recording Academy made it known the nominations for awards show, during its second-annual virtual livestream event on Tuesday morning from the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles.

Ghanaian heavyweight Reggae artiste widely known as Rocky Dawuni, was nominated for the Best Global Music Album category with his “Voice of Bunbon, Vol. 1”.

He is competing in the category with the likes of Daniel Ho & Friends, Angélique Kidjo, Femi Kuti, and Wizkid.

After the list was officially out, most fans of the A list artiste in Ghana have been so quiet, for not seeing their idol’s on that plateform.

Ghanaian celebrated rapper and boss of Sarkcess Music, Sarkodie has finally reacted to the good news, sending good will message to his big brother Rocky Dawuni.

Rocky Dawuni is best known around the world as a Ghanaian singer, songwriter and record producer who performs his signature ‘Afro Roots’ sound which is a mixture of Reggae, Afrobeat, Highlife and Soul music.

He has over the years been making Ghana proud on world music platforms. The 2022 Grammys nomination is yet another proud moment for his country.
