Sarkodie Recent remarks would lead someone to believe that I am a lunatic, says Shatta Wale
Charles Nii Armah Mensah, also known as Shatta Wale, is upset about the recent remarks made by Michael Owusu Addo, also known as Sarkodie, a fellow musician.
The latter stated that Shatta Wale’s behaviour about their personal conversations and his subsequent social media rants was puzzling in an interview on a South African entertainment podcast platform.
Sometimes when we’re talking on the phone, he’ll be on the radio the next day shouting, “F Sark,” On MacG’s Podcast And Chill, Sarkodie remarked, “Sometimes we don’t understand it, but I think he provided some energy and attention to the music industry.
When Shatta Wale had the chance to respond to Sarkodie’s perspective in a radio broadcast on July 14 rather than on social media, he said it painted him in a negative light.
Sarkodie shouldn’t have made the statement. People think I lead a crazy lifestyle, according to this perception. Therefore, if a colleague like mine spoke like that, someone would assume Shatta was insane, he remarked on the Accra-based Hitz FM show DayBreak Hitz.
Sarkodie was the target of a subtle jab from Shatta Wale, who said that the rapper didn’t understand what he stood for.
Unlike his “competition,” Shatta Wale asserted that he would not disparage Sarkodie’s reputation by making public remarks against him.
I have sat with you and spoken to you in business languages. I’ve phoned you about proposals I’ve had because I thought we could at least make something out of the data we have. However, if you must speak in this manner, do it clearly.
Shatta Wale also provided a more respectful interpretation of what his colleague could have said.
He could have stated, “Shatta has talked to me about something, and because I haven’t decided, sometimes he feels like I’m not ready, so you know, he goes on social media.'” I’ll comprehend, he continued.
