When Michael Owusu Addo, well known by his stage name Sarkodie, Africa’s most accomplished rap musician, took the stage at the “It’s About Time” Concert, there was nothing but joy and excitement.
Sarkodie, the head of SarkCess Music, and the legendary musical duo R2Bees sold out their highly anticipated “It’s About Time” concert at the Palladium Times Square in New York City.
It’s About Time is a concert that marks the first time when well-known Tema recording and performance artists have collaborated to host an event together outside of the motherland.
‘The Palladium Times Square, which seats 2,100, hosted the It’s About Time performance on Saturday, July 30. Camidoh, King Promise, MzVee, Gyakie, Kelvyn Boy, Darkovibes, Kwesi Arthur, and Efya all made appearances on the show as special guests.
When the 2019 BET Awards Best International Flow winner hit the stage at the concert to give a stellar performance to the hyped and energised crowd, it was nothing but fun and excitement.
