The multi award recording artist widely known as Sarkodie, received a plaque in recognition of his years of dedication, which he kindly accepted.

On a lighter note, Sarkodie couldn’t resist giving the prize a close inspection to make sure it wasn’t another Fordjour con.
Fortunately, he appeared stunned and extended his hand to thank the organsers for recognising his contribution.
DR. UN, a well-known award con artist, used a fabrication to award Sarkodie a distinguished name in Ghana a few years ago.
Since then, a wide range of celebrities have been wary about offending anyone in order to prevent more humiliation.
