Finally, the highly anticipated concert, now known as the “It’s About Time” Concert, will take place.
R2Bees and Sarkodie, two outstanding performers from Ghana, notably Tema, have joined forces for the first time ever for a major concert, which will take place on July 30 at the 2.1k-seat Times Square Palladium in New York City.
Omar Sterling and Mugees, who make up the talented music group R2Bees, have partnered with Sarkodie to host the It’s About Time event in the USA as a result of their friendship that dates back over ten years.
This comes after a popular video that showed the two acts performing together in Tema, the place where they first discovered and developed their abilities.
They were therefore filming the official advertisement for the historic concert that was about to take place in the USA on location.
Due to the great success of each of their separate shows in December 2021, Sarkodie and R2Bees are attempting to spread Tema Fever throughout the United States. Sarkodie and R2Bees have had a significant impact on Ghanaian music culture as it relates to the current generation of millennials.
The two have worked together on a number of classic songs, including “Baby,” “Yawa,” and “Bayla.”
Sarkodie and R2Bees arrived in the United States a short while ago, and the reception has been incredible. Among the amazing performers will be Efya, Kelvyn Boy, Gyakie, Camidoh, Kwesi Arthur, Darko Vibes and a lot of other outstanding artists.
